About
Hi there,
Thanks for stopping by. My name is Ben Heys and I am Australian born professional photographer who spends most of his time these days living and traveling throughout SE Asia.
I make most of my living as a stock photographer with so far over 90 thousand individual image licenses sold and counting. My work has been used for such things as: a broad range of print and online advertising campaigns, magazine covers, book covers and features, billboards, shop fronts, flyers, posters, website designs etc. But I also sell prints and do the occasional work for hire job.
I enjoy shooting a wide variety of subjects, such as: landscapes, travel, sport, beauty, fashion, art, still life etc but my first love with photography has always been and will always lie, in portraying the beauty of all that is woman.
Most of my model work is organised on a trade basis, so if you are a model, live in or are visiting Australia or Asia and have need of some new work, either something specific for a particular purpose or just a general folio refresh and like what you see on this site please contact me and we’ll see if we can organise a collaboration. Also please remember to include some recent photos of yourself or a link to a site where I can see some.
Depending on what projects I have and where I am, I may be able to offer paid work to models too and/or compensate your travel costs. Bear in mind however that my own personal style is to shoot art/fashiony nudes so for most project trades or paid work I’ll be looking at shooting some sort of art/fashion nude project. Exceptions may occur for spectacular models or spectacular shoots.
If you just want to hire me straight up to shoot you a folio/project then I also do work for hire at a starting rate of US$600/half day shoot plus expenses, this gets you as many looks/changes as we can fit in, the locaion(s) of your choice and and 6-8 fully edited shots. Feel free to contact me for any further inquiries.
I hope you enjoy your time here and find some images that bring you a smile.
Regards,
Ben
